I have joined the MSCS program at Sofia University, a good school for me working in the Bay Area of ​​California.

I want to share my experience with CPT at Sofia.

The application process is very simple. If you can do it yourself, just follow the instructions on the official website. If you use an agency, it will cost money, but it saves time and effort.

If you apply for Day-1 CPT, make sure to ask your employer for unpaid leave during the gap period. This is important because you cannot work or earn money during the gap.

Also, a degree from Sofia cannot be used for the Advanced Cap H1B lottery, but you can still apply for the Regular Cap H1B lottery. Usually, people use their previous degree for the H1B lottery.
