I don’t think OPT will be canceled at the end. It’s all talk. But this news may intimidate some U.S. employers, which will make it harder for international students to find a job on OPT.

So many things have been said.. I don’t think Trump will be able to let go the whole international student market tho.. But definitely make it even harder to get a job on F-1 visa and OPT :frowning:

I doubt they’ll actually end OPT. It feels like the typical pattern where they make a bold announcement, then walk it back after negotiations. But news like this definitely makes things harder for international students trying to find a job right now. Even if nothing officially changes, some companies might think twice about hiring international students on OPT. :frowning:
