They are one of the most popular day 1 cpt universities. I’ve heard about them many times. However, it seems their on-site frequency is really low, and students only spend 8 hours there each time. If it were any other time, I would think this is a good feature. But under the current political climate, is it still safe?
My friend was late for 1 hour for the on-site class. That’s it. And the Trine University just kicked him out of the school lol…
Not sure — it feels a bit sketchy to me. I’ve also heard quite a few students complain. Personally, I’d rather go with a low-key school to stay on the safe side.
I don’t recommend this school—some of my friends were just 10 minutes late to an on-site event and still got kicked out. LOL.
Trine’s advantages are cheap, low onsite frequency and non-profit.
However, when it comes to discuss with the admission team, it makes me fell tired…
so the cpt issued really slow, and some of my friends almost lost their jobs because of the schools work…
I’ve actually been looking into that school too, but most of the online reviews I’ve seen aren’t very positive, and it even seems like some students’ visa status and work were recently affected because of the school’s irresponsibility. Personally, I wouldn’t consider it, just to be on the safe side.
Actually about the on-site frequency, is 8 hours every semester ok for USCIS??
With the now political climate that students sevis got terminated out of nowhere, I strongly encourage you to choose a school that make your case look stronger when it comes to maintaining student status. One of the reason of some that SEVIS revoked is not going to school in person, and I think Trine ask you to go to campus one day per semester?
Good price is one thing, but not everything for sure.
My friend curretly enroll in Trine and he always say he is regret
Ummm…their confrontations with students on social media kinda scared me…
