Is Trine University Facing F-1 Visa Rejections? What International Students Need to Know

Since April 2025, there have been increasing reports that F-1 visa applicants for Trine University have faced repeated denials during their interviews. This has raised serious concerns within the international student community, especially as online forums and social media have amplified negative discussions about the school’s reputation.

Some speculate that Trine University may have been unofficially flagged or monitored by immigration authorities due to an uptick in applications tied to Curricular Practical Training (CPT). However, as of now, there is no official statement from USCIS or the U.S. Department of State confirming that Trine is blacklisted.

Students should proceed with caution. Before applying, consult with current students or alumni, and be prepared to clearly explain your academic and career goals during your visa interview. Choosing a school with strong academic credibility and transparent visa approval records is essential in today’s climate.

So is it still considered a legit school?

So is Trine’s on-site hours an issue? I compared them with other schools and they only require 6-8 hours on-site… I’m concerned but that school is so popular and cheap…

I feel that TRINE is already a high-risk school.
