Anyone here actually studying at Trine University (Day 1 CPT)? Need honest feedback

Hey everyone,

I’ve been looking into Day 1 CPT programs recently and Trine University keeps coming up — especially for the MS in Business Analytics. On paper, it looks okay: hybrid format, weekend classes, SEVP-approved, etc.

But I’ve also heard mixed things. A couple people said their experience was smooth, and they’re still working full-time with no issues. But then I saw a few posts in WhatsApp groups warning about stuff like late communication, unclear grading, and even professors not being super involved. One person mentioned they felt like they were “just enrolled for the visa,” which kinda worries me.

So now I’m confused. I don’t want to end up at a school that’ll cause problems later — especially with visa stamping or future H1B.

If you’re currently at Trine (or recently graduated), could you share your experience?
Like:

  • Do they actually care about academics or is it mostly just to keep status?
  • How strict are they about on-campus attendance?
  • Any red flags with SEVIS or visa issues?

Not trying to bash the school — just looking for honest feedback before I commit.

Thanks in advance :folded_hands:
