I’ve been doing all the “right” things—networking, reaching out to alumni, getting referrals—but it feels like none of it actually helps when you need sponsorship. Even with a referral, my application still gets filtered out half the time.
Has networking worked for anyone here? Or is it really just about finding the rare companies that are actually open to hiring international students? Kinda feels like a waste of time at this point, but maybe I’m missing something.
