Some Reddit threads (like this one) turn into mini travel buddy matchups
You can also ask your DSO if there’s a student directory or group chat — they might connect you with others from the same region
I’ve seen people successfully organize carpools and even share Airbnbs for residency weekends. Worth asking around!
