Hello! What day 1 CPT schools program do you know or suggest that support working as a nurse

For example, I didn’t know that you can work as a nurse while pursuing degree in health informatics, is that correct?

I know some people take MSN, or healthcare administration. I think you can look more into course description and see if that aligns with your job description in some ways.

I was curious if anyone had experience working as an RN in helathcare infromatics. I find reading course descriptions doesn’t help, because schools are the ones who decide if you can or can’t work

Depending on if you’re licensed or not, if you already have a US nurse license than healthcare informatics is possible while using CPT. But MSN might be the only way if you’re not licensed and working on getting it.

Yes you can, but if you do health informatics, it contains some data analysis, the learning load is a little bit heavy for you.
If you have the license, you can definitely do MS Nursing, but if not, you can consider MBA or Healthcare Administration.

One of your amazing consultants actually gave me an idea about health informatics, because school I was applying to is kind of far but they are MSN so def related to nursing. But I wasn’t aware that I could also work as a nurse while pursuing HI, or even MBA or health administration. So it is very helpful as it broaden my choices!

healthcare is probably a good idea. I have a friend who is a physical therapist, she went to Monroe to do a healthcare administrative MBA and got her CPT with no problem.
