Day 1 CPT in Texas — Westcliff vs. Texas Wesleyan?

Hi everyone,

My brother’s thinking of moving to Texas and needs a Day 1 CPT program. He’s on the last year OPT and thus wants a backup plan.

We’re looking at two schools: Westcliff University and Texas Wesleyan University.

There’s plenty of info online about Westcliff University, but I haven’t seen many reviews or firsthand experiences with Texas Wesleyan University.

Has anyone attended either school? How’s the CPT process with either? Is Texas Wesleyan University a safer option compared to Westcliff?

Appreciate any comments! Thanks!

Both schools are accredited, so they’re both safe and reliable options. GoElite works closely with both Texas WU and Westcliff, and the CPT application process with either school is smooth.

That said, I’d recommend considering other factors. Personally, I’d suggest Westcliff. It offers a wider range of majors and is located in the heart of Dallas, TX, which makes it more convenient in terms of location and accessibility.

Does TWU require religious study?

I don’t think so
Didn’t see any religious contents in the curriculum

I have a friend who enrolled at Westcliff and got H-1B without an RFE. Seems pretty legit and convincing to me.
Don’t know much about Texas University—will wait to hear more from others.

A lot of my friends went with Westcliff, but Texas Wesleyan’s tuition seems a bit more affordable.

100% go to westcliff :ok_hand:

Yea sounds like Westcliff is a better option. I’ll let my brother know!

Westcliff is highly recommended! My friends all have great expereiences!
