Recently, I’ve heard more stories about students losing their I-20s, often with little warning. Some lost it because they took too many online classes, others had issues with Curricular Practical Training (CPT), and some don’t even know why it happened.
It feels kind of frightening. The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) have been really strict lately, and I’m worried that even a tiny mistake could lead to big trouble.
Is anyone else feeling this way?
Have you heard about I-20 problems lately?
What are you doing to stay safe and follow the rules?
Are any schools giving clear advice on how to avoid these issues?
