Will AI Soon Replace My Job?

I’ve recently been hearing a lot about AI advancements and how quickly technology is reshaping various industries. I work in marketing, specifically creating content strategies and writing copy for digital campaigns. With new AI tools emerging rapidly, I’m becoming increasingly concerned about job security.

For instance, our company recently tested an AI-powered copywriting tool, and it produced decent results almost instantly—tasks that usually take me several hours. While the output wasn’t perfect, it was good enough to get management excited.

Have any of you experienced something similar in your fields? How are you dealing with the possibility of AI taking over certain aspects of your job? What steps can professionals like us take to stay relevant and valuable?

just wait till AI writes some incorrect information and let management deal with the consequences lol

It has already replaced many junior positions…it is difficult for NG to find jobs these days, let alone international students NG

its probably not completely replace the jobs, but definitely the demand for a certain job will decrease. So you have to be the top performer in your area as well.

This is honestly terrifying — not just for Harvard students, but for anyone here on an F-1 or J-1 visa. If it can happen to Harvard, what’s stopping them from going after any other school next?

At this point, it’s not even just about politics — it’s about the message this sends to international students who believed in the so-called “American dream” of merit, opportunity, and academic freedom.

I’m glad legal action is already underway, but the damage to the U.S.’s reputation as a global leader in education? That won’t be easy to undo.

Really hoping the courts shut this down — and fast.

Does it have anything to do with AI???

Totally get it—I had the same reaction when we tested an AI copy tool. It was fast, but still needed a human touch for tone and strategy. Now I use it to speed up drafts, but focus on what AI can’t do: brand voice, nuance, and big-picture thinking.
I think the key is staying curious and adaptable. It’s not about competing against AI, but learning how to work with it.

True.. but tbh I think it should take more technical job and leave the human interaction job to actual human.. I still like to talk to a real people customer service cuz AI never solve my problems…

Anthropic just mentioned that 50% of the job will be replaced by AI a couple days ago, and I believe all the low-performers and also junior staff will be replaced by AI definitely, so just be sure to be the top performers and have job skills that are not replicable.

Two skills won’t be replaced: taste and sales

I’ve also noticed a significant shift in the job market, with many high-tech positions being relocated to countries like India. As a result, 2025 graduates will face the most challenging job market in years.

i think it will take over part of the jobs but also create a list of jobs who manage AI

So if the AI messes up, do we get to blame it and keep our jobs?

sometimes i’ve seen people use AI at my job without doing quality control, and the work ends having to be redone because it wasn’t done correctly lol
