Lately I’ve been looking at different CPT-friendly schools, and something fun crossed my mind:
Which campus is actually the nicest to be on?
We always talk about visa policy, CPT timing, tuition, and class schedules — but rarely do we talk about the vibe of the campus itself. Some schools are in office buildings, some are in business parks, and some actually have really nice, traditional college-style campuses.
So I’m curious: Which CPT school campus do you think is the most beautiful or comfortable to study at?
Is it the location? The nature around it? The student areas? Or maybe just the atmosphere?
The key point to determine if a school is beautiful or not, you need to know if they have bachelor programs or sports teams. NEC, IWU and McDaniel are beautiful
Love this question! We definitely don’t talk enough about campus vibes when it comes to Day 1 CPT schools — and it makes a huge difference when you’re juggling work and study.
Here are a few that stand out:
Sofia University (Main Campus – Palo Alto, CA):
Nestled in Silicon Valley, it has a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The architecture is simple but calming, and there are outdoor spaces that feel very Zen — fitting for a school with roots in psychology and mindfulness.
Westcliff University (Irvine, CA):
Modern and clean, located in a sleek office park area — not super traditional, but it’s in sunny Orange County and close to beaches, so the off-campus vibe is great.
