The DOJ just dropped a memo that could make hiring and keeping H1B workers a nightmare. Stricter rules on what counts as a “specialty occupation” and more scrutiny on employer control could mean higher denial rates—just like we saw during the Trump era. Feels like another hurdle for H1B. Thoughts?

I know saying this might be a little bit sharp and indifferent.
As a tech worker, I’d say though I was worry about if I can win the lottery, I had never worried about if I am qualified enough or not. If you think yourself is not well prepared for the new H-1B Standard, then it is time for you to improve yourself.
And honestly I think DOJ might focus on illegal immigrants first.
