Anyone else feeling anxious about Trump’s executive orders?
He wasted no time—signed a bunch of them on Day 1. Now I’m wondering what’s coming next for H-1B and immigration in the next couple of months.
Will there be stricter rules? More audits? A lottery change? No clue, but it’s making me nervous.
And now with the H-1B registration fee going up to $215 per applicant, I’m really not sure how my company feels about sponsoring visas. Will they still be open to it, or will they start cutting back…(They are really strict to budgets)
I am curious—has anyone’s employer said anything about this? Are you guys considering backup options like Day 1 CPT or other visas? Would love to hear what you think!
