If you’re currently in or have completed a Day 1 CPT program, what’s something you wish you had known before enrolling?

There’s a lot of mixed info out there — some say it’s a lifeline, others have had rough experiences. I’m curious what real students have learned after starting their programs.

Was it about the academic load? Class format? SEVIS issues? Or maybe just managing work and school together?

Sharing your experience might help others make more informed choices (and avoid surprises later). Appreciate any insights you’re open to sharing :folded_hands:

Totally get the confusion — I’ve been through it too. For me, the academic load was manageable, but juggling classes with work (CPT) was the real challenge. SEVIS stuff wasn’t hard, but you have to stay on top of deadlines. Biggest tip: use your school’s international office — they’re super helpful. Hope that helps!
