Does anyone know if it is easy to find a job under CPT? Since I have no EAD, what do I show to my employer?
Not super easy, but not impossible either — really depends on the company.
Most employers don’t know what CPT is, so you’ll have to explain it. Just let them know it’s part of your degree and legally allows you to work while studying. No EAD needed — you just show your I-20 with CPT approval and maybe a school letter if they ask.
Startups and smaller companies tend to be more chill about it. Big corps… hit or miss.

For CPT, all your employer needs to do is complete a simple form. I think that as long as you explain it clearly, most small and medium companies are okay with doing it. However, as someone mentioned above, larger companies often have stricter HR policies, so it really comes down to their internal rules.
