Hi everyone, I just got selected in the H-1B lottery (change of status), and my start date is October 1st.
Right now, I’m working full-time using CPT from my university.
Should I continue working up until September 30th, or is there a period where I must stop?
I don’t want to violate my status during this transition.
Any guidance from people who’ve gone through this would be really appreciated!
I suggest ending the CPT program only after the H-1B status becomes effective.
