Hey everyone!
Just wanted to share a quick case from one of my students who recently transferred to Harrisburg University — it might be helpful if you’re exploring East Coast options.
What stood out in her experience:
- Once-a-month attendance: Yep, really. Her hybrid format requires just one on-site class per month. The rest is asynchronous — which works great for folks balancing full-time work.
- Individualized concentration: She was able to tailor her focus based on her career background, rather than squeeze into a rigid track. Not every CPT school offers that flexibility.
- Super convenient location: The campus is literally across the street from the Amtrak station. Makes weekend trips to class so much easier — especially for those based in Philly, NJ, or even NYC.
She’s settling in well so far, and it’s been a good fit for her priorities: maintaining work status, staying compliant, and not wasting time in traffic or cookie-cutter courses
If anyone else here is at HU, feel free to chime in — always helpful to hear different takes!
