Hey everyone! I’m an MSIT student at Westcliff University, and I wanted to share what it’s like studying there. I know some of you might be looking at schools with Day 1 CPT options, so here’s my experience.
Westcliff is great because it works well for students who have jobs. They offer online and on-campus classes, and I only need to go to campus one weekend per semester for my hybrid course, which fits my schedule since I’m also working. The workload isn’t too heavy—I usually spend about 1-2 hours a week on assignments, like discussion posts and papers, which are due every week or two.
The campus isn’t very traditional, though—it’s in a commercial building, so there’s not much of a “college vibe” if that’s what you’re looking for. Also, the tuition can be a bit expensive, which some students might not like. But for me, I care more about balancing school with work, so it’s been a good fit.
Overall, Westcliff is working out for me as an MSIT student since it matches my needs. If you’re thinking about joining, just make sure you’re okay with the setup. Anyone else at Westcliff? What do you think?
