How to Enter the H-1B Lottery:

  1. Find a U.S. Employer – They must sponsor your H-1B visa.
  2. Employer Registers You – They submit your details in the USCIS lottery system (March).
  3. Wait for Lottery Results – If selected, employer files an H-1B petition.
  4. USCIS Processes Petition – If approved, you get an H-1B visa.
  5. Start Working in the U.S. – Visa validity starts from October 1.
