3-year guaranteed green card scam

A friend in Texas (CS grad student) told me that in their university’s Indian student WeChat/WhatsApp groups, there are TONS of ads like:

  • Guaranteed green card in 3 years!
  • No H-1B lottery required
  • No employer sponsorship needed
  • Works for F-1, OPT, tourist visa
  • Price: $20K standard, $50K VIP (includes lawyer, coaching, fake documents)

The process is shockingly organized. Upon arrival, they enroll you in a small religious group and provide a fake baptism cert. Further file for religious asylum with fake documents and coached persecution story, and at the same time, arrange a fake marriage as a backup track. If both fail, push you toward TPS or fake EB-3 sponsorship.

The VIP package even includes:

  • Professional “interview coach” for asylum & marriage
  • Full RFE (Request for Evidence) handling
  • Refund partial fees if both tracks fail

Some desperate Indian grads really fell for this. A few actually got green cards.
But others were caught: FBI visits, deportation orders, permanent bans from the U.S.

And guess what the agencies say? “We only assist, you bear the risk.”

if anyone promises a “guaranteed green card,” 99% chance it’s a scam.

Poor us, who are desperate and believe things that are too good to be true.

This is terrifying and infuriating. The fact that these agencies operate like well-oiled fraud factories, and prey on students’ fear and desperation—is sickening. A “guaranteed green card” should be an immediate red flag. Nothing in U.S. immigration is guaranteed, least of all when it’s wrapped in fake baptisms and coached persecution stories.

What’s worse is how they frame it as a service, while students are the ones risking their futures, records, and reputations. One mistake and you’re not just deported, you’re blacklisted for life.

To anyone even*thinking about this: No paper, no visa, no status is worth losing your integrity and legal future. These scams don’t just break laws, they break people.
