I’ve been following the recent news about the escalating conflict involving Iran, and it made me wonder, what kind of impact might this have on international students, especially those studying in Western countries like the US, Canada, the UK, or Europe?
I’m thinking about things like:
- Visa processing delays or policy changes
- Public perception or increased scrutiny based on nationality
- Impacts on mental health, financial stability, or access to resources
- Whether universities or governments might offer special support
